Dr. Marc Rogers, CERIAS, Purdue University
Topic: Developing a Meaningful Cyber Forensics/Digital
Evidence Curriculum
Marcus K. Rogers, Ph.D.,
CISSP, CCCI is the Chair of the Cyber Forensics Program in the Dept. of
Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University. He is a
Professor, University Faculty Scholar and a research faculty member at
the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and
Security (CERIAS). Dr. Rogers is a member of the quality assurance
board for (ISC)2¹s SCCP designation, is the International Chair of the
Law, Compliance, Regulation and Investigation Domain of the Common Body
of Knowledge (CBK) committee, and is the Chair of the Ethics Committee
for the Digital and Multimedia Sciences section of the American Academy
of Forensic Sciences. He is a former Police officer who worked in the
area of fraud and computer crime investigations.
Dr. Rogers is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Digital Forensic
Practice and sits on the editorial board for several other professional
journals. He is also a member of various national and international
committees focusing on digital forensic science and digital evidence.
Dr. Rogers is the author of several books, numerous book chapters, and
journal publications in the field of digital forensics and applied
psychological analysis. His research interests include applied cyber
forensics, psychological digital crime scene analysis, and cyber
terrorism.

Mr. Robert McGraw, Technical Director, IA
Architecture and System Security Engineering Group, NSA
Topic: IA Challenges and Trends for the Next Generation of IA
Professionals
Mr. McGraw is the Technical
Director for the Information Assurance Architecture and Systems
Security Engineering Group at the National Security Agency (NSA). His
group is responsible for defining the information assurance
capabilities for the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Global Information
Grid, which will transform DoD’s approach for communications and
information management. They are also responsible for providing
Information Systems Security Engineering services to a vast array of
DoD and other government programs.
Mr. McGraw received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from
the University of Detroit and a Master’s Degree in System Engineering
and Technical Management from the Johns Hopkins University. He has been
with the NSA since 1973 where he has spent his career architecting and
developing Information Security products and systems for space, combat,
and cryptographic key management applications.

Timothy Fossum, Program Director, National Science Foundation
Topic: Federal Cyber Service: Scholarship for Service Program
Dr. Timothy Fossum is Program
Director of the Division of
Undergraduate Education at National Science Foundation.
At NSF, he is responsible for the Federal Cyber Service:
Scholarship for Service (SFS), and the National Science,
Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education Digital
Library (NSDL) programs. He is also a professor of
Computer Science at SUNY College at Potsdam, Potsdam, NY.
Previously, he held faculty positions at University of
Wisconsin - Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin-Parkside,
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and
University of Utah. Dr. Fossum's expertise is in distributed
systems, software engineering, and system administration.
He actively teaches courses in these areas. He received
his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Oregon.

Arent, CISSP, NSA-IAM, ITIL, EDS-Global Information Security

and Threat Vectors
Michael Arent has
responsibility for security delivery solutions globally. His current
focus is security architecture, engineering, implementation and
management of security solutions. He supports all industries and works
to develop a depth in defense approach along with centralized
management/monitoring. He is also very focused on providing the correct
level of security based upon the clients industry.
Michael has many years of IT and security experience, most recently he
managed the San Diego Network Operations Center for the Navy Marine
Corp. This network is second only to the internet in size. He has
continually upgraded his skill set and stresses the importance of
keeping your skills current. He has functioned in consulting,
management and technical roles with emphasis on security operations,
automation, and project management.

Keith Mayer, BrightPlanIT.com
Topic: Electronic Discovery: New Demands and Trends
Mr. Keith Mayer is Chief
Technology Officer and Enterprise Consultant and Technology Evangelist
at BrightPlanIT.com. He has over 15 years of direct experience as a
Technical Project Leader in the research, design, implementation, and
management of complex enterprise IT projects. Previously he held
positions such as Network Services Manager at Hodgson Russ LLP –
Buffalo, NY, Enterprise Technology Consultant at Consulting Practices,
Inc. – Buffalo, NY, Enterprise Technology Consultant at IKON Office
Solutions, Inc. – Buffalo, NY, Senior Technology Engineer at Ingram
Micro, Inc – Buffalo, NY, and so on. He holds numerous certifications
including Microsoft and Cisco certifications and completed several high
impact projects including development and delivery of “From the
Field” training sessions to Regional Microsoft Partners regarding
Microsoft Core Infrastructure Optimization (Core IO) and Business
Productivity Infrastructure Optimization (BPIO) initiatives. He
received a B.S. in computer science from SUNY at Buffalo and is a
member of IEEE.

Dr. Anthony Billittier, Health
Commissioner, Erie County
Topic: Public Health Emergency Response Preparedness in Western New York
Since 2000, Dr. Anthony
Billittier has served as Commissioner of Health in Erie County, NY,
with a population of approximately one million encompassing the City of
Buffalo and surrounding suburban and rural areas. Dr. Billittier is a
board-certified, and still clinically active, Fellow of the American
College of Emergency Physicians. He is a graduate of the University at
Buffalo, School of Medicine and completed his emergency medicine
residency and emergency medical services fellowship training at
Alleghany General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Billittier has integrated out-of-hospital care and emergency
preparedness into his public health agenda and remains committed to
academic and scientific, as well as regional, state and national
initiatives. In addition, he continues to serve as system medical
director for multiple volunteer, municipal, commercial, and air medical
EMS agencies throughout Western New York. He has authored or
co-authored over sixty publications on emergency medicine, emergency
medical services, and public health topics, and is an Assistant
Clinical Professor at the University at Buffalo in both the School of
Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the School of Public Health and
Health Professions.
As an invited speaker addressing the topic of regional emergency
preparedness and public health, Dr. Billittier has presented at
numerous area meetings and national clinical conferences. He
participates in numerous community service activities related to public
health and emergency medicine, including service as co-chairperson of
the Western New York Public Health Alliance, Inc.
