Call For Papers

ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Biomedicine (ACM BCB) is the main flagship conference of the newly formed ACM SIG Bioinformatics. ACM BCB 2011 is in its 2nd year, building upon the success of ACM BCB 2010 in Niagara Falls, USA, August 2-4, 2010 with about 200 attendees.

ACM BCB 2011 will be held at the Hilton Suites Chicago-Magnificent Mile, USA, from August 1-3. We solicit high quality, original research papers. We welcome papers that report new algorithms or novel computational approaches broadly in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Biomedicine. In addition to the emphasis on the novelty of computational techniques, we also respect papers that report novel biological discovery through non-trivial data mining process by using existing computational techniques.

Paper Submission

By submitting your paper to ACM-BCB, you implicitly state that the paper is based on your own original research and that it was not and will not be submitted elsewhere. Papers should not exceed 10 pages in ACM template on 8.5 x 11 inch paper (see ACM templates). All submitted papers should be written in English. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the work associated with the paper submitted.
All submitted papers will be reviewed by ACM-BCB's technical program committee. All accepted papers of registered authors will be included in the proceedings published by ACM digital libraries. Selected papers will be invited to adapt their papers for their publication in several journals.
