CSE 116 - Fall 2007 - Introduction to Computer Science for Majors II
Grades in Gradebook Final (Posted 12/19)
The grades you will see in the gradebook now are the ones that I will be submitting to the University as your final grade for this course. If you notice any errors or have any questions, please email them to me. I will only be reading email sporatically this week, but will be in a few days next week and will do my best to resolve any issues then. I will officially submit the grades on 12/28 and they should appear on MyUB within a day or so after my submission.
Gradebook Update (Posted 12/11)
Scores for the final exam are now inputted into the gradebook. There was an 8-point curve applied to this exam, so your true score is actually 8 points less than what you see in the gradebook. If you would like to see your exam, I will be in my office Tuesday 12/11 until 5:00pm and again Wednesday 12/12 11:00 to 5:00. I will be available other days/times by appointment. Stage 3 is being scored and will post another update when those scores are inputted and the grades are final.

Recitation Registration Problems
From Jaynee Straw
"We're finding that anyone that was registered in your A1 canceled recitation has been removed, BUT, the problem is, it is linked to the lecture, which it did not remove when the recitation was canceled...could you please poll your students and instruct them to come to my office to fill out their name, person #, and the recitation they desire, so we may tend to this matter next week and place them accordingly? Thank you. I'm located in 251 Bell Hall. and Kathy is in 201 Bell, should I be away from my desk."
The recitations we agreed upon in class the other day are now officially listed on the course schedule. Please register for the appropriate section as soon as possible.

A Note about Instructors
I (Adrienne Decker) am the official instructor for this course. However, I am currently home enjoying my new baby. I will be back on October 1. In my absence, Mark Zorn has been assigned to act as instructor in my place. During my absence, all correspondence about course issues should be directed to him. Decisions on the grading of coursework and exams has (when possible) been done in consultation with me. Therefore, his word on grading issues is final in my absence as well.
