CSE 115: Paper Grading Papers on the same topic will all be graded by one member of the staff. Papers will be read and ranked by the grader 1, 2, 3, 4. These rankings will be determined by readability (grammar and spelling), the content and coherence of the paper, the way the student described the lab (technical aspects) and the graders overall impression of the finished work. In most circumstances, the rankings will translate into the follow grades: Paper ranked 1: 100 (A) Paper ranked 2: 91 (A) Paper ranked 3: 82 (B+) Paper ranked 4: 76 (B) There is a possiblity for ties, for which both students will receive the same grade. There is also the ability for the grader to shift the scale down if the overall quality of the papers is deemed to be less than the posted scale. REPORTING OF GRADES TO STUDENTS Use this template to send grades to students. The grades will be sent to username@cse.buffalo.edu and the subject of the email should be "Paper Grade and Feedback" A copy of this ENTIRE email with the bottom part filled in by you should be sent to the student for their reference.
