Study Guide

For the first practical exam, you should be comfortable doing the following tasks in the lab environment (Bell 340). You are allowed to bring your textbook to the exam to use as reference. You are also allowed to look at your previous lab assignments ON THE LAB COMPUTERS (not your own machine) during the exam.

The exam will expect that you know all of the things you knew from Practical 1 & 2 with regards to system activities and the basics of using Greenfoot. In addition, the following topics from Labs 5-10 will be assessed.

Parameters to a constructor Creating objects and positioning them in the world using arrays Moving using the Vector Collisions using methods from Actor Iterating over a list of objects from the world Drawing on GreenfootImage objects Animations (grow & shrink & transparency) Behaviors in a simulation
