Data hazard - stalls

• All data hazards cannot be solved by forwarding:

LW R1,0(R2)

SUB R4,R1, R5

AND R6,R1,R7

OR R8,R1,R9

• Unlike the previous example, data is available until MEM/WB. So subtract ALU cycle has to be stalled introducing a (vertical) bubble.
