Recording a sound file using Sound Recorder (Windows)

You are going to use Sound Recorder to create a simple greeting.

Your task ...
  1. Open Sound Recorder, usually located in the Accessories folder in Windows Program Manager.

  2. Choose New from the File menu.

  3. Click on the microphone icon to start recording your message.

  4. Speak into the microphone.

  5. To finish recording, press the Stop button.

  6. From the File menu, choose Save As.

  7. Save your file as sound1.wav to the sounds folder/directory, inside the pdcourse folder/directory.
