a mini-tutorial on JavaScript
Basic Requirments 
  1. You should know basic HTML, before proceding on these pages. If you don't know HTML a  great tutorial written by Jill Kempton can help you to get started. 
  2. You need Netscape or Internet Explorer version 3.0 or greater, there are some capabilities in

  3. Netscape 2.0 as well.
  4. You don't really need to know programming, as you can take scripts from other peoples web pages, but

  5. it helps if you want to write your own customizable scripts.
 
 

Note: Java is currently version 1.1.5(as of January 98), and there is a beta version 1.2 that is supposed to be out in Q2 1998.
