A 5-page double-spaced report
The report should be on the issues discussed by one or more of the
colloquium speakers. This should not be a summary, but your reaction
to the issues, whether you challenge the conclusions, build up new
ideas from them, compare and contrast the positions of different
speakers, abstract the cognitive science import you see running across
all the speakers, or the like. That is, some kind of creative response
is called for.
The report is due on the last day of classes, Friday, December
10, 2004. Put your report in an 8 ½ × 11 manila mailing
envelope, address it to Prof. Shapiro, and give it to a CSE Department secretary in 201 Bell Hall
