Gives a synopsis of what knowledge representation is and the knowledge representation language SNePS. Most of the topics discussed were covered in this class. Here are some interesting points:

When representing an object it is not necessary to represent everything about the object.

We can create certain representations for objects that satisfy the current problem. For instance the representations provided in the report disregard time. The passage begins with the phrase "A decade ago.." which is not represented in the semantic network.
