The syntax fo Action/In:
An example of Action/In. The sentence is:
"Marc talks in the classroom."
I thought this was an interesting case frame. Consider these sentences:
"Marc talks in the class room."
"Marc talks near the chalk board."
"Marc talks at the podium."
"Marc talks on the moon."
...
Each sentence has a different prepositional phrase. These would seem to indicate that there exists case frames of the types:
Action/Near
Action/At
Action/On
...
Question: Could Object1/Rel/Object2 be a possible case frame or would it be a misuse?
The proposition is now:
"Marc talks (Object1) in (Rel) the class room (Object2).
This would appear to cut down on the number of case frames needed and also place the preposition in a node.
