Biography

I am a researcher focusing on security problems in the cyber physical space. My current research interests include network security, IoT security, and online abuse detection and understanding.

Right now, I am an assistant professor in the CSE department at UB. Prior to that, I was a research scientist at Facebook working on continuous fuzzing. I got my PhD degree from Indiana University (Go, Hoosiers!), under the supervision of Prof. Feng Qian and Prof. XiaoFeng Wang. Also, I am pround to be a senior member in the fathers' association thanks to my two kids Tommy and Mars.

PhD positions are available with full TA/RA support.
I am also happy to work with passionate master and undergraduate students, drop me a message if you are interested.
