Media Forensic Lab (MDFL)


The UB Media Forensic Laboratory is a multi-departmental research lab at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, University at Buffalo, State University of New York, affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and the Artificial Intelligence Institute. We are broadly interested in Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms, and are specially focused on the theoretical foundations and algorithms for the forensic analysis of digital media (images, audios, and videos). Funding for the lab has been provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Defense Advance Program Research Agency (DARPA), the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), the Army Research Office, the US Department of Homeland Security, and Google Inc.
