 CSE 116 Introduction to Computer Science I


Preliminary examinations

There will be two preliminary exams worth 100 points each, for a total of 200 points of your final grade (read about the grading ). The first preliminary exam is tentatively scheduled for the week of October 5 - 6. The second preliminary exam is tentatively scheduled for the week of November 13 - 14.

EXAM2 : Chapter 4,5,6,7 
Topics : Linked List, List Iterators,   Stacks, Queue
You may bring to the exam two pages of any information you need handwritten by you.

Possible questions: Linked list internal method, Linked list external application method, List ierators, Stack and queue specification, implementation and application.
 

If you do not attend a preliminary exam, you will receive a grade of 0 (zero) for the exam. We will make an exception to this rule only in the case of a documented medical or family emergency. 

You must bring your UB Card to the prelim exams. ID's will be collected at the start of the exam, and returned to you when you hand in your exam. 

Final examination

There will be a final exam worth 200 points of your final grade. (Read about the grading). The final will be scheduled during the final exam period. Do not make travel plans until you know what your final exam schedule is. The final cannot be rescheduled for you. 

If you do not attend the final exam, you will receive a grade of 0 (zero) for the exam. We will make an exception to this rule only in the case of a documented medical or family emergency. 

You will not be permitted to leave the examination room during the first 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of the exam. 

You will not be permitted to write the final exam if you arrive more than 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of the exam. 

You must bring your UB Card to the final exam. ID's will be collected at the start of the exam, and returned to you when you hand in your exam.
