SCoRe People

Current members of the SCoRe Group.

• Jaroslaw Zola – the group is lead by Dr. Jaroslaw 'Jaric' Zola, who has decades of professional experience developing algorithms and methods for solving compute-intensive and data-driven problems in life sciences and engineering.

• Sam Anderson – Sam is part of the SMARTEn project. He works on new methods combining parallel computing and external memory for indexing terabyte scale texts.
• Trevor Schneggenburger – Trevor is part of the SMARTEn project. He works on new metagenomic tools for MinION sequencers.
• Andrew Mikalsen – Andrew in working on the SMARTEn project. He researches new methods to deploy large DNA indexes on the edge.
• Zainul Sayed – Zainul is working on the SCoOL framework, with the goal of scaling optimization problems on distributed memory systems.
